I am planning a trip for a group of childhood friends and their families. There will be 15 people in all, ages 8 to 48. I would like to do a group dinner or event that isn't very expensive yet that everyone will enjoy. Please offer suggestions.

    HI Susan!

I have two ideas that you might enjoy:

    1.  Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party, at the Magic Kingdom park.  Held at the Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant most nights, the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party includes a self-service buffet offering an array of tempting sweets and beverages. You will make reservations and have your own tables for the whole event.  You may move toward the railings to view the fireworks (but may not take your chair to this area).  The party begins one hour prior to the start of Wishes® Nighttime Spectacular.

    2. Fantasmic! Dining Experience.  This is held at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  You make advance dining reservations at one of three restaurants inside the park: The Hollywood Brown Derby (lunch or dinner),
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano (lunch or dinner), or Hollywood & Vine (dinner packages only).  When you arrive for your dining reservation you will be handed vouchers for VIP seating at Fantasmic! later that evening.  You will then need to arrive at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater 30-45 minutes before the start of the show, and will be shown to your preferred seating.

Both of these events can be reserved online or by calling (407) 939 3463, up to 180 days ahead of time.  It is recommended that you make your booking early as both events are very popular.  When booking the Fantasmic! dining package, ensure you state that it is the package you require, not just the restaurant reservation.
