Hi! I am planning a trip with 2 grandkids (16 & 8) We want to purchase a memory maker (not today), they may not be in the same park at the same time ..how does a memory maker work in that case?

Greetings Darlene and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

How exciting that you'll be able to create unforgettable memories with your grandchildren!

Here is how to link Memory Maker:

    1) Once your Walt Disney World Resort vacation package is booked head over to My Disney Experience to begin linking your vacation including sharing your plans and creating your 'Friends and Family list'.

    2) Add your grandchildren to this 'Friends and Family list' which will enable you to view and download their photos.

    3) Purchase Memory Maker and link it to your account. If you purchase Memory Maker online, it should automatically link up to your account.

    4) When at the theme parks, water parks and Disney Springs, at each Disney PhotoPass location link each photo using your MagicBand, or Memory Maker card, or theme park admission card, or Disney PhotoPass Card. Instruct your grandchildren on which method you would like them to link their photos when they are at the attractions featuring Disney PhotoPass service. This is how their experiences will be captured and saved to your account.

    5) You can view, order, download and share your Disney PhotoPass photos and videos at MyDisneyPhotoPass.com as well as on the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Darlene, may I direct you to Walt Disney World Resort's Grandparents Vacationing Guide in preparation and planning for your special vacation with your grandchildren.

I hope this information is helpful to you and we hope to be of assistance with your vacation planning in the near future.

    Magical wishes to all.
