Hello, An, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so glad you stopped by to see us with this great question. There's nothing better than planning a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with a little Mouseketeer!
My little guy made his Disney debut at the ripe old age of seven months. He's a big 8-year-old now, but I have fond memories of his Disney "firsts" - first hugs from Mickey, first giggles on the Mad Tea Party, and braving Splash Mountain for the very first time. I'm so excited for you to experience those firsts with your little princess!
The
Magic Kingdom Park is certainly a must-do with little ones, so I recommend staying in one of the
Magic Kindgom area Resort hotels, particularly the ones along the monorail if you can. It's so convenient to step on the monorail and arrive at the Magic Kingdom before you can say "bibbidi bobbidi boo!" Plus, it's really easy to head back to the Resort hotel when your little one needs a breather.
An, there's a whole world of things for young children to do at Walt Disney World! Be sure to check out the
Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones page for all kinds of magical memories you can make with your daughter.
And here's a Mom Tip: Stop by the
Baby Care Centers in each of the Theme Parks. It's a quiet, cool place to change a diaper, have a snack, or just take a break from a busy Disney day. You'll appreciate it as much as your little one does!
I hope this helps you plan a magical visit for your family, An. Please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
