I am planning our 2012 trip. I would like to go when we can see the Christmas lights - it will be our last chance before our oldest starts school. We have stayed at Caribbean Beach and Coronado Springs. Sons are 1 & 5. What deluxe would you recomme

    Hi Amity,

Since you'll be visiting during the holiday season, I would absolutely recommend the Wilderness Lodge for your family. Your sons will love "living" in an enormous "log cabin" during your stay!

The Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful resort and it takes on a breathtaking quality once decorated for the holidays. From the enormous Christmas tree, to the wreaths and garlands, this hotel is a magical place to stay during the Christmas season. Your family can cozy up by the fireplace, have a fun meal at the Whispering Canyon Cafe, and enjoy being closely situated to the Magic Kingdom.

When my son was younger, he loved the bunk bed rooms, walking over the bridge that crosses a stream in the lobby, and going out back to watch Fire Rock Geyser.

We love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, so consider getting tickets for this after-hours event in the Magic Kingdom!

Thanks for letting us help plan your special 2012 trip!
