I am planning a trip to the GF for my family & would like it to be warm enough to swim & wear short sleeves, but not hot enough that humity is overwelming. I would also like limited crowds w/ no school breaks/vacations. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Hi Nicole!

May (especially the early part of the month) sounds like it fits your plan perfectly.  The weather in May is generally warm and sunny, but not oppressively hot as the summer months can be.  In addition, the crowds tend to be moderate (except for the days surrounding Memorial Day) and rainfall is generally not a problem.  In early May, lows are in the mid 60s, an highs are in the mid 80s.  Schools in the South are still in session, and spring break is over.

This is the time of year that Epcot features its annual International Flower and Garden Festival which is truly spectacular, and, in my opinion, a must see!

Your family will absolutely be able to wear short sleeves, and enjoy the lovely pools at the Grand Floridian.

So, that' my vote!  Feel free to write back if you'd like another panelist's perspective.  Have a wonderful family vacation!
