I am planning a trip with my 3 friends to visit WDW. We will all have graduated college by December 2010. When is a good time to visit considering a recent college graduate's budget? We were thinking either January or May?

    Hi there Amanda!

My college graduation gift was a trip to Walt Disney World too!  I had a blast travelling "the World" with my best friends.  Two kids and more years than I care to admit later, I still have wonderful memories of that adventure!  If you are looking for a low season with very moderate crowds, I recommend January for your trip.  After the holidays, the parks clear out, and you can very often find great packages and deals at the Disney resorts.  I have travelled to Disney during January several times, and we have enjoyed super short lines (in many cases, we were able to walk onto many popular attractions.)  May is a wonderful month to visit as well, but the crowds are generally a bit thicker, especially toward the end of the month, as schools across the country start to let out for the summer.  If you plan your trip in May, I suggest booking toward the beginning of the month.  If you want warm weather, obviously, May is a better choice, as January can be quite cool.

Whenever you go, have a magical trip!
