Welcome back to planDisney, Gurpreet! I see that your upcoming visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort is only a few days away, so let’s...dive right into your question about Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon!
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is a personal favorite of mine when visiting during the hot summer months. The Surf Pool and Humunga Kowabunga are incredible, but I always find some time to relax and float in Castaway Creek. As a self-proclaimed Disney Foodie, I also never forget to indulge in a delicious beverage or two from Let’s Go Slurpin’. My wife highly recommends the Hang Ten Mojito, and I always choose the Piña CoLAVA. For a quick bite, hit up Surf Doggies for a hot dog and Mickey Pretzel!
All of Disney’s Theme Parks and Water Parks can reach capacity, so it is always best to be one of the first to arrive
or plan on arriving in the mid-afternoon when the early birds are ready for a break. Given the plan you’ve laid out, I think you will be OK. However, I cannot be 100% sure. I recommend downloading the
My Disney Experience Mobile App before your visit and enabling the notification settings to receive a notification if any theme parks or water parks reach capacity and entry is temporarily paused before you leave
Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
I hope this helps answer your question, Gurpreet. If you have any other questions or want some of my favorite dining recommendations,
let me know!
Give me some fin,
Brent
