We are planning a trip to Fort Wilderness. We are 55' with our truck and 5th wheel. Will all sites accommodate our rig and a place to park our truck?

    Howdy Patti!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by as you prepare for your adventure to pioneer paradise at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I'd be happy to discuss the logistics of parking vehicles at your campsite.

The campsites at this resort can equip a variety of RV sizes, and you'll want to reserve the space that fits your needs. The "Premium Campsites" are the largest and can accommodate up to 18 by 60 feet of vehicles on the parking pad. For your vehicles to fit, they must remain on your pad without extending over the road or onto the grass. Overflow standard parking is available at the main parking lot near the resort entrance. For convenient proximity to the Meadow Trading Post, Meadow Recreation Area, Bike Barn, and Campfire Area, consider booking a "Premium Meadow Campsite." If you anticipate using any of these amenities, it's great to be close by.

I hope this is helpful! I love the tranquility of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You're only a short boat ride from the excitement of Magic Kingdom Park, but your oasis in "The Fort" seems worlds away. If you can find time in your itinerary, make reservations for Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. Walt Disney World's longest-running dinner show is incredibly fun for Guests of all ages, and when you're staying nearby, a short commute makes the evening more enjoyable.

Thanks again for visiting us at planDisney, Patti. As your vacation nears, don't hesitate to stop by again with any questions that arise. Many new experiences are coming to Walt Disney World in 2024 and beyond, so stay tuned to our Instagram account and the Disney Parks Blog to keep up with all the excitement. Best wishes for an enchanting escape, and have a magical day!
