We are planning a trip to Fort Wilderness. We are senior citizens that need ebikes to get around. Are they allowed in the campground? If not, we will have to cancel our plans. We do not want to rent a cart or bicycles.

Welcome to planDisney, Janis. It's so nice to virtually meet you!

According to the rules and regulations for vehicles, carts, and recreation devices for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds, electric bicycles are not permitted. Since you do not want to rent a bicycle, I would encourage you to use the internal bus loop available for guests at the resort to help you get around!

If you are looking for an alternative Disney Resorts Collection Hotel that still has a bit of an outdoorsy feel, look no further than Disney's Wilderness Lodge. This hotel is themed to America's Great Northwest and is one of my favorite hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort. The grounds are easier to navigate and are absolutely breathtaking. Plus, it doesn't hurt that Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White is here. The food and the atmosphere are delightful...and you'll get some unique character interactions you don't usually find in the theme parks.

Janis, there really is something for everyone at the resort and it's one of the most accommodating places on earth. I truly hope you find something that fits your needs and brings a smile to your face each day of your magical vacation.

Please don't hesitate to reach out directly to me with any questions leading up to your vacation.

    Pleasant dreams,
    Matt
