Planning a trip to Fort wilderness next March 2027, when can you make those reservations? Also my husband and I will have our own RV but my daughter will be renting, will we be able to camp close or next to each other?

Hi there! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for reaching out! Planning a trip that far in advance is honestly one of my favorite things to see, because it means you're giving yourself plenty of breathing room to dream, plan, and get excited without any pressure.

When it comes to booking, Walt Disney World typically releases vacation packages for the following calendar year sometime in late spring or early summer. That means reservations for March 2027 are still a bit down the road, and nothing has opened just yet. The good news is that you're absolutely not late. In fact, you're early in the best possible way. You've got more than enough time to plan out your ideal site category, travel logistics, and everything else that will make the trip smooth and enjoyable once booking does open.

Now, about camping close together... this is a great question. When you and your daughter go to book your Fort Wilderness campsites, you can absolutely request to be placed near each other. After your reservations are made, I recommend reaching out directly to a Cast Member, either through the Chat feature in the My Disney Experience app or by calling the Walt Disney World help center. You can let them know that you're traveling together and would love to be as close as possible.

While Cast Members can't guarantee adjacent or neighboring sites in advance, they are genuinely wonderful about noting preferences and doing their very best to accommodate them. Fort Wilderness is especially accustomed to multi-site family trips, so your request won't be unusual at all.

I hope this helps you feel confident as you look ahead to March 2027. With a little patience now and a friendly conversation with a Cast Member later, you'll be setting yourselves up for a truly magical stay under the Fort Wilderness pines. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We're always available and more than happy to help here at planDisney!

    Warm hugs,
