We are planning a trip to Fort Wilderness campground Sept 2018. We've invited the grandparents, but at this point don't know if they will be able to join us. Should we put them on the reservation? Is there a difference in price? Thanks!

    Hi Cindy!

The Fort Wilderness Resort is a great choice for a very unique and magical Walt Disney World vacation. My family loves the cabins and my husband and I enjoy “glamping” in our motor coach in the campgrounds.

Since you are looking at a reservation quite a few months down the road you have choices. You can include them now or add them later. My suggestion is to go ahead and add them. It is not going to cost you more as each campsite can accommodate up to 10 persons for that one charge.

When it is time to make your dining reservations also be sure and include them in that dining number. It is far easier to show up for dining with fewer guests then if you showed up with more then you reserved for. The general rule is as long as one person arrives for a dining time you are not penalized and will be accommodated. If you try to have two extra guests show up you might have a long wait for a table even though you had a reservation.

Hopefully, the grandparents can join you for a wonderful fall vacation where magic and pixie dust take over.
