We are planning a trip to Fort Wilderness and will be bringing our dogs. Nowhere on the reservation does it say I have dogs but it allowed me to “request a pet loop”. It states it is not guaranteed. For driving over 1000 miles, I really need reassurance.

    Greetings, David!

Welcome to planDisney! A trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth with your favorite pups is sure to be an epic adventure. It sounds as if your planning is off to a great start. Step one is booking the pet-friendly loop. And there are a few other things to check off your list to ensure your stay is magical and pet-friendly!

David, now that your site is booked and the trip is official, you will need to call and add your furry friends to your reservation. You'll want to reach out to a friendly Cast Member with Tickets and Hotel Reservations. You'll be able to add your pets in no time. And when you arrive, be sure to stop by the front desk for your special (and adorable) Pluto's Welcome Kit. I also recommend taking a moment to get familiar with the Fort Wilderness Pet Policy before the big adventure. And finally, don't forget to pack a recent copy of your pup's vaccinations to have on hand during your stay.

If your dogs are looking to have a little extra fun while you are enjoying a day at the parks, check out Best Friends Pet Care. Your pups can play with new pals, enjoy special treats, participate in themed photos, and even get picked up right from your resort. It will be their best trip ever!

    Wishing you a pawsome trip!
