    We are going to be planning a trip to Florida and would like to stay 2 nights in Disneyworld. We have a 2 year old son and would like a place that will be fun for him to explore. I would prefer to stay on Disney property.Any affordable suggestions?

    Two properties come to mind when you say "explore" and "affordable: Art of Animation and All-Star Movies.

    Art of Animation's backdrop of larger-than-life Disney characters from Nemo to Ariel, Lightnin' McQueen to Simba from Lion King, bring the resort as well as your room lots of color and theming. Even with all of the characters, what makes this resort stand out to me for exploring is its zero-entry pool, the largest on Disney property, for your toddler. Three pools actually comprise the outdoor water play area. Pop-up jets lend lots of fun above the water while music--yes, music--plays under the water. If your child has ever been afraid to put his head under the water, I can only imagine that the unique sounds might coax him to give it a try at Disney.

    All-Star Movies presents the biggest bang for your vacation buck, in my opinion, when you're looking for a resort for the younger set. With stories-tall statues of Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Herbie-the-Lovebug and other iconic Disney movie favorites, the resort provides one photo op after another. You'll find a sizeable playground at the resort, also. I can usually find discounts at the All-Star hotels much easier than AOA, so it may come out on top simply because of the sizeable discounts available.
