Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Viri!
A trip to the Happiest Place on Earth this October sounds absolutely wonderful! Visiting the parks on weekdays is generally a good strategy since crowds tend to be slightly smaller than on the weekends. While it’s too early to know what the entertainment schedule will look like this fall, last October, Fantasmic! primarily took place on weekends only. Additionally, Paint the Night is scheduled to end when Pixar Fest comes to a close on September 3, 2018. It’s always possible that popular entertainment offerings like Paint the Night could be extended, but we just don’t know for sure yet. Definitely keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog as your travel dates approach for all the current news.
Since you’ll be traveling in October, you will get to experience all the spooky fun of
Halloween Time and that includes the fan-favorite Mickey’s Halloween Party. Every day at the Disneyland Resort you can enjoy seasonal overlays on select attractions, beautiful fall décor, and your favorite Disney pals dressed up in their Halloween costumes. On select nights, Mickey’s Halloween Party will take place where you can trick-or-treat around the park, meet unique characters and villains, and enjoy exclusive Halloween entertainment like a special parade and fireworks. The dates for Mickey’s Halloween Party are usually released in July on the Disney Parks Blog and a separate ticket is required to partake in the event. I suggest buying your party tickets as soon as you are able if you want to experience this super fun event.
If you have any more questions about Halloween Time or any other element of your vacation, please stop by again!
