    We're planning a trip the first week of June with our 10 & 5 year old. What's the weather like this time of year? Will it be hot and humid? Also will the park be crowded this time of year? It will be our 1st trip and advise?

    Hi Kelli!

    June is a great time of year to come!  You can expect some warm weather in the high 80's, lows in the 70's and possibly rain showers.  The first week shouldn't be too bad with crowds as summer vacations start around mid-June.  Dress comfortably for the heat and pack a poncho or umbrella to keep handy in case of afternoon rain showers.  Keep yourself hydrated since you will be doing a lot of walking around parks.  All of the quick service restaurants and carts that serve fountain soda will give you a free cup of ice water.  Take advantage!  If the weather gets too hot, alternate an indoor ride with an outdoor ride.  Wear your sunscreen!  It doesn't take long to get a nice glow on your cheeks and nose.  Plan a water park day!  There's nothing more refreshing than spending a hot summer Florida day splashing around in a wave pool or flying down a water slide.  Enjoy yourself and don't go to fast.  You don't want to tire yourself out early in the day.
