Hello! We are planning a trip the first week in June, I have seen the specials from Disney. We are planning on using our Disney visa for the first time....are they anymore discounts or specials for using the visa? Do we have to go through a travel agent?

Welcome to the Moms Panel, Courtney!   When you say that you have seen the specials from Disney, I'm assuming that you are speaking of the 30% savings on select Walt Disney World Resorts with the Disney Visa?  That offer is exactly the same as a discounted room only rate that is offered right now for Spring.  The only difference is that with the Disney Visa, you were able to book with those rates one week earlier .  You certainly do not need to go through a travel agent.  Take a look here...

There are some great Disney Reward Visa perks which are available to you at the Walt Disney World Resort.  For example, there is a private Cardmember character meet 'N' Greet in Epcot.  It happens daily in Epcot and it's free! What's more is that you'll also receive a complimentary 5 x 7 photo as well.  Another cool thing about the experience is that the characters always vary.  Check out other year-round perks here...    While you are on the website,  look at the other perks available. Did you know you may be able to obtain 0% APR vacation financing for your trip?

Also, you may want to begin using your Disney Visa right now.  Any Reward Dollars you accrue can be used on your vacation in June.  It's another added bonus.

Feel free to come back if you need any other tips.

Until then, I wish you a MAGICAL vacation!
