We are planning a trip for the first time Sept.18-23. I trying to decide on wither to get park hoper tickets or not. My daughter is 6yrs.

    Hello, Gayle!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

For your family, you will have 5 nights and 6 days to have the most magical time ever! So you will have lots of time to explore the parks and Disney Springs

Typically, when we stay for a long period, more than 2 nights, we will purchase tickets without the park hopper pass. Without the park hopper pass, we can visit one park per day and we can leave and re-enter the same park on that day with no problems. So, for my little ones they need a nap or relaxing time in the resort room. We'll arrive at the park when they open and then return to our room midday and go back to the same park that night to finish up the fun we started that morning. This allows us to see more of the parks without worrying about making it to another park in the same day.

If we have a short visit, we will purchase the park hopper pass and start the day early at one park, take a break in the room midday and finish up the day in a different park. There's something at each park that my family just can't miss when we visit.

Also, you can purchase the one park per day tickets and once you get to Walt Disney World, you can upgrade those tickets at Guest Relations to the park hopper pass for the remainder of your stay! By then you may have a better idea of what your little Princess will want to do while on her Disney vacation!

I hope this helps! If you have more questions, please visit with us before your vacation!

    Happy planning!
