I am planning a trip for February 2020. On Friday nights (14, 21, 28), there are "No times available" for Once Upon a Time (MK). Happily Ever After is still scheduled to play at 8:00pm. All other nights, Once Upon a Time is at 8:45pm. Any ideas?

    Hi Heather,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for bringing a great question to us!

When I checked the park hours for those days, Disney Villains After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park will take place on those evenings. Although I have not personally attended the Disney Villains After Hours event, I can say that the entertainment schedule in the parks has changed in the past when other special ticketed events occurred.

When planning our visit for this past December, I distinctly remember realizing that with the dates we had originally selected, we were going to miss the Happily Ever After show at Magic Kingdom. As much as I adored Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show, Happily Ever After is a must-do for my family. We shifted the dates of our trip so that we had a chance to see the show on the first day of our visit.

Heather, you are correct that Once Upon a Time is currently scheduled for other days during the month of February. I hope you can arrange your visit to see it. Also, remember that you can find other viewing spots outside of Magic Kingdom if you do not have park admission. My family always does advanced dining reservations at California Grill and 'Ohana at times that coincide with the fireworks. We particularly enjoy the window tables at California Grill. The views are spectacular!

Sending pixie dust your way as you make a plan that works for your family!

    Magic and memories,
