I am planning a trip for February 2024 to Disneyland. I will have 5 adults and 4 children. Is it possible to reserve 3 rooms together, either connecting or side by side? or at least on the same floor? We would like to stay at Disneyland Resort.

Greetings, Briana! Thank you so much for thinking of planDisney to help answer your Disney vacation planning questions.

I'm thrilled for you and your travel party to experience all the magic of a Disneyland Resort vacation early next year! You've made an excellent choice to stay at the Disneyland Hotel, with its delightful dining options and classic retro theming that celebrates the origins of the 'Happiest Place on Earth.' Don't forget to click the magical button near your headboard for a surprise bit of pixie dust!

Briana, when traveling with a group of nine, you certainly have some options for room types that are suited for your party's size. You can search for availability for the 5 adults and 4 children in your group using the search function on the official Disneyland website. This will yield search results to accommodate your party such as a 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom connecting suite. However, as I understand your question, you may also be interested in booking three separate standard rooms which can sleep between 2 and 5 Guests, each. You are absolutely welcome to do so, just note that you will have three separate hotel reservations with differing confirmation numbers. You can link each of them in your Disney account by using the Disneyland mobile app and tapping the "My Hotel Reservations" icon. There, you'll see an option to "Link a Reservation" where you can input the confirmation number and arrival date of your visit. This feature is also available on the official Disneyland website where you can hover your cursor over "My Disneyland" on the main menu and select "My Hotel Reservations." Follow the same steps, and your hotel reservations will be linked to your account!

My last piece of advice, Briana, is to call the Hotel Reservations line to speak to a Cast Member in Guest Services. You may ask them to place a note on your reservations to request that your travel party is placed in adjacent or nearby rooms. While these requests are not guaranteed and are subject to availability at the time of check-in, it definitely helps to have them documented ahead of your arrival! Doing this, in addition to linking your hotel reservations together in your Disney account will give you the best chance at having your room location preferences accommodated.

Finally, I want to share that the all-new Villas at Disneyland Hotel will be open for your 2024 visit and offer even more accommodations options for your group. Bookings for this new addition to the Disneyland Hotel property will begin on March 17, 2023.

I hope these few suggestions are helpful to you as you continue planning your exciting Disneyland Resort vacation. We love offering our personalized advice to fellow Guests, so if you ever have any more questions or need some planning inspiration, please feel welcome to visit planDisney again!

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
