We are planning a trip in February to celebrate our son's 8th birthday. We are thinking of staying at the Beach Club Resort. Is it worth it to upgrade to a waterview room from a garden view room?

    Hi Sandy!

My son and I love the Beach Club Resort!  Upgrading your room from a Garden View Room to a Water View Room will cost you more per night.  It really depends on how much time that you are planning to spend in your room and how much a view of water means to you whether paying for an upgrade will be worth it for you.  The water views at the Beach Club Resort can be a bit more noisy because they overlook a pool (Storm Along Bay) or Crescent Lake.  From my experience, unless you plan on looking out your window a lot it might be worth it to have a Garden View Room and save the money.  Your son is going to love Storm Along Bay!

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is filled with magic and memories!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
