We are planning a trip Feb. 2013 and just wondering what is the best way to purchase everything? Do we go through a travel agent or call the disney number?

Sonya, I am so glad you are planning your first trip to Walt Disney World! Be prepared to have a blast zooming down Space Mountain, eating Mickey ice cream, and speeding along on Test Track.

Making your own arrangements or using a travel agent is simply a matter of personal preference. I typically try to book my own vacation package and dining reservations online, but I have also used Small World Travel. Using an agent is easier. She will make all your reservations, notify you when specials become available, and alleviate much of the work for you. Though I am always glad when I use a travel agent, I have some control issues so I often handle the preparations myself! If you call, (407) 939-7675, to make your arrangements you will find the Cast Members knowledgable, helpful, and happy to patiently talk you through the process.

Please remember the WDW Moms Panel is here to help you create a magical, memory making vacation. Please contact me if you have any additional questions or want specific recommendations about any aspect of you upcoming trip.
