Hi there, Rosannette!
Welcome to planDisney, it's great to meet you! It sounds like you experienced a sprinkle of pixie dust at that fundraiser, how exciting! Let's talk a little about the technology side of things to make sure you're ready to be the leader of the club when you hit the parks.
The Disneyland Resort actually has its own
Disneyland Mobile App (which is different from the My Disney Experience app used at Walt Disney World Resort) so you'll want to download the right version of the app for the park you're visiting. The good news is, both apps allow users to link multiple tickets to one account and manage things like
Disney Genie+ Service and
Virtual Queues. When you open the app you can tap the "≡" icon to open the main menu and then tap "Tickets and Passes" to see tickets already linked to your account. If you need to add any tickets, just tap the "+" sign and follow the prompts. Once every ticket is linked to your account and you can see it in the app then you'll be able to purchase Disney Genie+ for the Disneyland Resort once you enter the park each day!
If your husband would like to be your co-planner you can have him download the app for his own mobile device and sign in using your same account information, or he can create his own account and link the tickets to his account. Linking the same tickets to more than one account is totally fine! That gives you both the freedom to select
Lightning Lane return times, and even divide and conquer if your little Mouseketeers have different interests.
I really enjoy using
Disney MagicBand+ when I'm in the park with my kids! They love having the chance to tap their bands to enter the parks, join a Lightning Lane, and experience fun interactions with rides and shows. They would play
Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters all day long if we let them. We're also really enjoying
Mickey's Toontown, which is more cheerful and fun than ever with some newly reimagined fun alongside the classic characters (and jokes) I've always loved.
Have so much fun at the parks with your family, Rosannette! It looks like your trip is just around the corner, so
if you have other questions just send them on over and I'll be back in a flash.
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
