I am planning a trip with another family, I was thinking if we got the duplex plan and shared our meals with our friends, Can you do this? So if my family of 3 got the duplex plan and went out to eat with there family of 3 can we use 6 credits off ours?

Hi Shelley and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I think it's generous of you to want to share your Disney Dining Plan entitlements with another family. If your family of 3 purchases the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, you are welcome to spend your entitlements to share a meal with friends. I'm sure the other family you are traveling with would appreciate being treated to a special meal at one of the incredible Walt Disney World Resort restaurants.

I have just a couple important reminders for you. If both groups of three are staying in the same resort room or villa, everyone in the room has to participate in the same Dining Plan. Also, please remember there are some restaurants and experiences that require two table service meal entitlements. I wouldn't want you to be surprised by the number of entitlements you have to use for a meal.

Shelley, thank you for visiting us with your question. I hope you'll let us know if we can help you with any other planning questions!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Amy H.
