Hey there Britney!
Thank you so much for visiting us at planDisney! We are so happy to hEAR from you and most definitely ready to
help you plan for this visit.
The Walt Disney World Resort does an incredible job of providing services for
Guests with Disabilities. Without knowing the accommodations you are looking for, my best recommendation would be to give the Disability Services a call, or by sending an email to
disability.services@disneyparks.com. You are also more than welcome to speak with a Cast Member, once you arrive, by stopping at
Guest Relations in the parks.
My oldest Mouseketeer has been on quite a medical journey himself. Every time we visit we do stop at Guest Relations to request
Disability Access Service for him. It helps him a lot and we are truly thankful to have this accommodation made possible. Aside from what can be done in the parks, I also recommend taking plenty of breaks! Taking breaks and finding a cool and quiet spot in the parks helps refuel my Mouseketeer. We also always visit the parks with noise reduction safety earmuffs. I’m not sure what works best for your family, but think about what may be helpful in the parks or what you can’t leave home without when you’re packing. Trust me, it will come in handy!
I hope this plan for your visit, Britney.
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with as you continue to plan, we’re all EARs!
Have a Magical Day!
