Hello! I am planning a trip for my family to Disneyland in October and we are interested in attending the Oogie Boogie Bash and we know that tickets are very high demand to i was wondering if we have a date for when tickets will start selling for the event

Boo to you, Mackenna, and a spooky welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians plan their next visit to the Disneyland Resort, so let’s get started!

Halloween Time is one of my favorite celebrations at the Spookiest Place on Earth! From the festive frights to the daunting décor and mouth-watering treats, there’s truly something for everyone to enjoy. But perhaps my favorite part of Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort is Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party! I had the chance to visit this spook-tacular event twice last year, and I loved it! The Immersive Treat Trails, Villains Grove, and “Mickey’s Trick & Treat” were definitely on my highlight reel.

As you mentioned, event tickets did sell quickly last year. Though we don’t know exactly when tickets will be released this year, I recommend keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog and the Special Events page of Currently, the Special Events page says to “check back in the spring for more information.” I pulled up some information from last year, and discovered that the Disney Parks Blog announced Oogie Boogie Bash on April 17, 2019. Tickets went on sale to Disneyland Resort Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club members, and Disney Visa card holders on April 23. Then, tickets went on sale to the general public on April 30. Oogie Boogie Bash took place at Disney California Adventure Park on select nights from September 6 through October 31, 2019. So, an announcement may be released soon, if the same timeline is followed this year. With the current status of the Disneyland Resort, I’m not sure if that timeline will be followed as closely, but it doesn’t hurt to follow along to find out. Your best bet is to keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog, which is the first spot for all breaking Disney Parks news!

Have you started brainstorming Halloween attire for this frightfully delightful evening? If you’re anything like my family, chances are you may also be obsessed with the latest Disney and Pixar film, Onward, which recently started streaming on Disney+. Hello from sunny California! I currently live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids under the age of 8, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
