Hi Bridget,
Welcome to planDisney! How exciting, your first Walt Disney World vacation!
One of the first things to note is that this fall, the Walt Disney World Resort will still be celebrating its
50th Anniversary. With this celebration, there are so many new things to see (ex.
50th anniversary statues), shows to experience (ex.
Harmonious), and snacks to enjoy. As soon as you step on property, make sure to tell a Cast Member at your hotel’s front desk or at any merchandise location that it’s your first time, they’ll have a special button for you!
I know
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a favorite experience for many guests, but unfortunately, it’s still unavailable at this time. Though Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique isn’t open, that doesn’t mean your princesses can’t have the royal treatment. There are a number of other experiences their royal highnesses can have across the Walt Disney World Property including
meet and greets with Princess Tiana, Jasmine, Anna, and Elsa as well as seeing the princesses in
Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade!
While you’re thinking about which Theme Parks to visit, I suggest checking out this
Visitor’s Guide. It's a great resource because you can see all the Theme Parks on one page and explore which might be best for you and your party. You can also view attractions by categories like “First Time Visitors”, “Thrill Seekers”, and “Little Ones”. At this stage, you can also look into your options for hotels. You'll want to explore the
Disney Resorts Collection and
other accommodations that surround the Walt Disney World Resort.
Next, you’ll want to make a
My Disney Experience account and download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. This app gives guests access to planning tools like the current wait times for attractions, booking
Disney Genie+,
Lightning Lanes, and so much more. If you need any help with the app, definitely connect with the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands desk!
Finally, once you purchase your Theme Park tickets, make sure to book your
Disney Park Pass reservations! At this time, you need both a Theme Park ticket and Disney Park Pass for each member of your party for every day you enter the Theme Parks.
I know that was a ton of information, but I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your fall trip with your family. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
