I am planning a trip in the fall. We will have 2 other "halves" of the family going with us, but they will be traveling separately and not part of the trip I book with Disney. When I make character dinner reservations, can I make the reservatio

    Hi Gregg!

The last part of your question was cut off, but I'm going to assume you are asking about making dining reservations for your entire group.  If you plan on having a group dinner with guests not staying in your resort room or even on property at all, include the entire number in your dining reservations.  They do not need to be a part of your package to be included in your dining reservations.  Also assuming you'll be paying separately, just let your server know how the bill is to be separated.  They will ask if any of your party is on the Disney Dining Plan.  This can easily be split up.  A good rule of thumb is that it is easier to decrease the number of dining guests rather than increase.

    Have a magical day!
