I am planning a trip for extended family, how do I book multiple rooms on a single reservation

Hey there, hi there, Mark! Welcome to planDisney. We are excited you stopped by with a planning question for us!

It's planning time! I'm excited to see that you are looking to visit during the holiday season at Disneyland Resort. You've got an important task as the planner for an extended family trip. I can share with you that you are able to book multiple rooms on one MyDisney account online; however, you cannot do it under one single reservation number. Each room needs a separate reservation. As the planner, you can decide if it's easier to do all the booking and down payments, or if you would rather have everyone book their own room.

While we are talking about large parties, you will also want to think ahead about dining reservations. You are already in the 60-day window, so reservations are open. It can be more difficult to book large parties if you want table service options. You will want some other members of your party to book a reservation with you for the same or similar time by breaking up the group into smaller groups. Then I recommend arriving early to talk with a Cast Member to see if they can accommodate you all sitting near each other. This is not a guarantee, but it never hurts to ask. Luckily, there are plenty of amazing quick-service locations throughout both parks and the Downtown Disney District. Most of the time, my family opts just for quick service.

Mark, you know where to find us if you have any other planning questions for us. Happy planning!

While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
