Planning our trip for 10/23. Going to Epcot want to know if Disney has resolved the problems with the parking trams, are they running? Also, is house keeping available? We visited 2/22 and there was no house keeping.

    Hello Mary Jo!

Welcome back to planDisney! I have trouble going long without a trip to Walt Disney World and I see that you are the same!

I have some good news for you! Housekeeping Services are back! I missed it sorely during some of my recent adventures as my kids are a mess but they are back. Before your arrival, the rooms will be deeply cleaned and during your stay light cleaning will occur every other day.

As of my trip a few weeks ago, there were only parking trams available for Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park parking lots. It is not clear when they will bring back the trams for EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios but I am crossing my fingers and toes to see them return this year!

On my last trip, we drove into the parks and chose to purchase Preferred Parking as we knew that we wanted to avoid the long walk back to our car with eight people of various abilities. The mornings are easy but the evenings can be difficult- especially with little ones and a tired mom. It was worth every penny!

I hope you have a fun time planning your upcoming trip and as always we are here for your questions!

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
