Hi June,
Welcome to planDisney!
Well, let the planning party begin as you plan a trip with a larger group! The good news is that each park will have exciting attractions for your crew. Having said that, I would probably start with
Magic Kingdom and
Disney's Hollywood Studios. Both have a good number of attractions. As you continue to plan, I suggest that you check the
Attractions List and filter by theme park. You can also use this list to check the height requirements for each attraction. Given the ages of your kids, I strongly suggest that you check the height requirements prior to arrival so that you can manage expectations for rides. When we took our girls at 5 years-old, we simply avoided attractions that we knew they were too short to ride.
While Magic Kingdom has some of our favorite rides like Tomorrowland Speedway, Peter Pan's Flight, and the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Disney's Hollywood Studios has
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway and
Toy Story Land. Both parks are a lot of fun. I have to add, though, our girls loved all of the parks when they were the ages of your little ones. They loved Disney Animal Kingdom theme park because of all of the animals and they loved EPCOT for the experiences.
June, I am sending a little extra pixie dust your way as you try to make a decision. In looking at your arrival dates, I will say that December is my family's favorite time of year to visit. My family adores The
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort. The decorations are simply gorgeous in the parks and resorts!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
