I am planning a trip with my entire family...6 adults and 5 kids. We have the basic dining plan. Any suggestions on places to eat w/in the dining plan? We plan on going to T-Rex and Sci-Fi Diner out of the plan but want suggestions for in plan as well.

    Hi Kristen!

Choosing where to dine is probably the hardest part of planning my Walt Disney World vacation, because there is just too many yummy choices!I highly recommend that for any table-service location you make your reservations quickly, It can be difficult to find reservations for larger parties as your check-in date approaches.

I wasn't sure if by the "basic dining plan" you meant Disney's Quick-Service Dining Plan or Disney's Regular Dining Plan so I will include suggestions for both table-service and quick-service locations.

For Magic Kingdom, I would check out Disney's new Be Our Guest restaurant which is a quick-service for lunch and a table-service for dinner.I had the opportunity to dine at lunch and dinner and both are very yummy, plus the interior is gorgeous!I highly recommend Disney's Crystal Palace also, as it is full of character and offers a delicious buffet!

In Epcot you can never go wrong with a trip to Sunshine Seasons to use quick-service credits. Located in The Land Pavilion, the food is fresh and has a variety of options. For a table-service credits head over to World Showcase, in fact I could probably spend a large portion of my vacation dining in World Showcase.I'm partial to Rose and Crown Pub and Biergarten is a great place for large parties.

I see that you will already be dining at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater, which has a fun atmosphere and is a favorite with my children.I also love Prime Time 50's Cafe, comfort food and 50's kitsch make this a fun and yummy place to dine.Make sure to check out Starring Rolls cafe and The Writers Shop have delicious ways to use your snack credits!

My family loves Boma and is a great location for dinner, especially when visiting Animal Kingdom.Yak and Yeti also offer both a quick-service and table-service location that offers pan-Asian style cuisine right inside of Animal Kingdom.

    Bon Appètit!
