Hi! We are planning a 2013 trip for our entire extended family (18 ppl!). Do you have recommendations for some fun dinner locations? And can I make dining reservations for 18 people online? Thanks!

    Hi Kristen!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

I'll answer the easy question first.  Unfortunately, you can not make a reservation for 18 people on line.  However, you could just make two reservations (one by you and one by another person in your party) at the same time or very close to the same time; then when you get to the restaurant just tell the Disney Cast Member that you would like to be seated near each other.  However, that may be impossible or you might have to wait for a very long time.  An alternative solution is to call the restaurant directly and make a reservation that way.  You could also work with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner; he or she generally has experience working with large groups.

Now off to the hard question as there are a lot of good places to dine that are fun.  Below are some of them when keeping the size of your group in  mind:
    • Biergarten in the Germany Pavilion in Epcot
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge
    • Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club
    • Ohana in the Polynesian Resort
    • Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion in Epcot
    • Sanaa in the Animal Kingdom Lodge
    • Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
