    Hi we are planning a trip at the end of September 2017, can someone tell me what the temps and weather is truly like during this time. I also, would like to get tickets for the Mickey's Scary Halloween Party, do you know when the tickets go on sale?

    Hi Donna! Planning a fall Walt Disney World vacation is a fun time with so many things happening in the parks and on property. You will find the Epcot Food and Wine Festival happening at that time as well as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom.

    The tickets for the special event party have not gone on sale yet but start looking daily on the website or Disney Blog page as they usually announce them in April or May. It is best to order your tickets ahead of time so you don't arrive to only find that the night you wish to go has sold out.

    The weather in September is a little tougher to predict. It is likely to remain hot and humid for most of the month with temperature averages ranging around 90 or the high 80's. Temperatures usually don't start dropping until mid October. You will also need to be prepared for the continual afternoon rain showers but they rarely last longer then an hour or two. September is still in hurricane season although the Orlando area rarely is affected by these storms. 

    Hope this information helps when it comes to packing for the trip......think summer clothes and some raincoats or ponchos and you will be set for a magical vacation!
