Planning a trip for end of Sept and will be traveling with our 4 yr old and then 8 1/2 mo old. Wondering how the temp. will be then. Will it be too warm for 8 1/2 month old to be in the parks all day? Any tips for us?? Are we crazy to be taking her so young

The weather at the end of September is still quite warm (and humid, which makes it worse!).  With children as young as yours, taking midday breaks for naps is highly recommended.  You'll all be happier for doing so.  Some additional ways to keep your cool:

-bring along one of those battery-operated fans attached to a water bottle and use it frequently.  They are also available for purchase in the parks if you are unable to locate one at home before you leave.

    -stay hydrated!

-enjoy frequent breaks in the shade.

-spend some down time at the pool.

-bring a stroller from home that is equipped with a sunshade for you little ones.

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
