We are planning a trip at the end of March 2011 with four adults and two children (ages 5 & 2). We are wanting to stay in a two bedroom villa and will be spending the majority of our time at the Magic Kingdom. Which resorts would be closest?

    Hi Jennifer,

Thanks for writing.  Congratulations on your upcoming trip.  If you are looking for the closest two-bedroom villa (complete with a full kitchen, washer/dryer, living room and dining area) I recommend Bay Lake Tower at the Contemporary Resort.  From this breathtaking new property, you will be able to either walk to the Magic Kingdom or hop on the monorail for a short and super convenient trip.  Some of the villas offer Magic Kingdom views, from which you can view Wishes (complete with the soundtrack piped into your suite) in your PJ's!

The Villas at The Wilderness Lodge are also a wonderful venue to call home while on your Disney Vacation.  This resort is also a Magic Kingdom area property.  Access to the park is via a short boat ride.  The resort is fashioned after some of our Nation's most beautiful national parks, and even has a replica of Old Faithful Geyser.

Whichever you chose, have a magical trip!
