Hi we are planning a trip for the end of Feb 2012 and are staying at Port Orleans Riverside Resort. I would like the best room for my family (kids are 8, 7, 4 & 2). Which room would you advise to request. I love this Mom's panel. Its very helpful.

    Hi Suzanne!

Port Orleans Riverside will be just perfect for your family!  I won't lie, you will be in close quarters, but you will all be able to legally fit into one of the rooms in the Alligator Bayou area, as your youngest is under the age of three.  By the time of your visit, all of the Alligator Bayou rooms will have been refurbished and will now feature two Queen beds and a pull down bed as well.  In comparison, these rooms used to feature two double beds and small trundle bed.  Big improvement!

This section does offer rooms based on their location.  For example, those buildings that are closest to the lobby and food court are considered to be "Preferred" and cost a little more each night.  In my opinion, Building 14 is the best!  If you don't want to splurge for a great location, Building 16 is also pretty great.  I'm also thrilled to announce that the pool side games, movies and campfires will now take place year round.  Woo Hoo!

    Much pixie dust,
