Well, boo to you, Debbie, and please allow me to frightfully welcome you to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question to us about one of my favorite special events,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Let's talk about all the tricks and treats you need to know to secure your ticket.
While details around the 2026 parties haven't materialized yet, I can share that in 2025, parties began in mid-August and happened on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays in August and most of September. Late September and October parties were held on Fridays, Saturdays, most Sundays, most Tuesdays and one Monday, which was October 13. I can't say for certain this year will follow last year's pattern, but this gives you something to start with for planning purposes. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and official Disney Parks social media for details, which, according to my crystal ball, were released in mid-May last year.
One of my favorite things to do at the party is trick-or-treat around the park. This makes the kid in me very happy, and I'm always delighted at how much candy I take home.
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is one of my favorite parades in all of Walt Disney World, and it's only performed during the Halloween party. Another favorite that I never miss is
Mickey's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, the nighttime fireworks show, also only shown during the party. Beyond those, I just really love taking in the spooky park ambiance, listening to the Halloween music and catching some of the other entertainment happening around Magic Kingdom. And the extra treats. Let's not forget about those. There will usually be some special menu items only available during the party.
Debbie, I hope you have a fantastic time at the party. If you have any other planning questions for us, please hurry back to ask them. There's always room for one more.
Have a magical and not-so-scary trip!
Melanie
