We're planning a trip for 10 either Thanksgiving or Christmas- any thoughts on these times? Also, any tips for finding the cheapest airfare? I can't find anything cheap! Any specials going on during this time? I think the dining special will be over???

Both Thanksgiving and Christmas will be busy times if you will be visiting when schools are out, in particular the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve.  Also, that week is often the most expensive for hotel rates.  But I have to tell you, I love visiting WDW during the holidays.  All of Disney is truly dressed from head to toe in its absolute best making it even more magical.  It even snows on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom!  If you visit during Thanksgiving, you will still have a chance to see a large majority of the holiday decorations as they are often out by then.  If you do have the chance visit anytime right after Thanksgiving to Christmas, you'll find much better hotel rates and smaller crowds.  As of today, I don't know of any specials they are offering for travel during those time periods.

To find deals (no specials are currently available), I'd follow the website www.mousesavers.com which specializes in Disney deals and ways to make it more affordable.  In fact, it even publishes a monthly newsletter you can subscribe to.  Also, the WDW homepage often links to any available specials.  To find deals on airfare, I subscribe to several airline weekly newsletters to follow any updates and specials.  I also frequently do searches for airfare at www.kayak.com to monitor the costs, since they are often fluctuating.
