Hi! Planning a 2nd trip in early September after staying at the Coronado last year. Trying to save money by staying at the Pop Century with my family, will I regret downgrading from a moderate to a value resort or is it better for to invest a little more?

    Hi Dino,

I'm thrilled to hear that you had such a wonderful time on your first trip to Walt Disney World that you have decided to come a second time. You will find that each and every time, you will see new things and even more magical experiences and hopefully keep coming back for more.

I have stayed at both of those resorts and as a mother of three kids, I can see the value of wanting to save a little money. There are some things that the moderates offer or have that the value resorts do not, such as table service restaurants at the moderates and marginally larger rooms. However, if you don't plan on being in your room that much and you don't necessarily have to have a table service restaurant at your immediate resort, then I would recommend saving a little extra money.

The theming at Pop Century is so much fun and I just love taking pictures with the larger than life icons of different decades from the late 20th century such as the giant Mr. Potato Head, Rubik's cube, or canister of Play-Doh. There is also a fun oversized foosball table with 12-foot players that you just have to see to believe!

Have a magical time planning and feel free to stop back by and ask me more questions that might come up in the process.
