We are planning a trip for early next year. Does anyone have an opinion on which weekend is less crowded: MLK or Presidents Day? Thanks

    Hi Angel,

In my experience, Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend tends to be less crowded then Presidents' Day weekend, largely because many schools are closed for a "Mid-Winter Break" either the week before or after the holiday, and families come down for the entire week.  Most schools tend to close for just one day on MLK, and fewer families are there on a week-long vacation.  While you can never predict crowds with complete certainty, I'd vote for MLK weekend for smaller crowds.

    Have fun planning!
