Planning a trip early dec, 2014, family of 5, 2 adults, 3 kids (8,5,4). Also traveling with other family members, all getting their own rooms. We think we would like family suites? What do you recommend and what resort would you recommend?

    Hi Tamara!

My family loves the family suites at the value resorts.  Currently you can choose a family suite at Art of Animation or All-Star Music.  We have stayed at the All-Star Music several times and really enjoyed the added features such as a separate sleeping area for the parents, kitchenette with microwave and small refrigerator, and the preferred room location.  We often travel with other family members as well and they have enjoyed the standard rooms in the value categories, too.

While I haven't stayed yet at the Art of Animation family suites, I have toured the premises and the theming and grounds are fantastic.  Art of Animation family suite is next on my list to stay in that's for sure!

My recommendation between the two value suites would be Art of Animation because it is the newest and more elaborately themed.  Plus also I also just loooove Nemo!

Here is a link to view all the options for Rooms for 5 Guests or More at the Walt Disney World Resort.  There are more options for a family of 5 than the family suites and this site does a lovely job of describing all of the accommodation choices.

    Have a Disney Day!

Meet the Panelist: Brenda, Missouri

I fell in love with Walt Disney World on my very first visit, which took place during my honeymoon. Since then we have added 4 "mouseketeers" to our family and have come to appreciate what a great value a Walt Disney World vacation can be on a budget. As a Physical Therapist and a mom of a large family, I would love to help you plan your next magical trip! Learn More About Brenda
