We're planning our 1st trip to DW with our 4 yr. old daughter. We'd like to avoid large crowds & take advantage of off-peak rates but concerned about weather (heat & rain). Would the first week of Feb be better or mid-Sept. or early Nov?

    Hello, Julie,

Thank you for your question as you begin planning your first trip to Walt Disney World. You have picked some great times to visit, and there are some differences with weather during each of those times.

In February, the average daily temperature is 61 degrees with an average rainfall of 2.7 inches per month.

In September, the average daily temperature is 81 degrees with an average rainfall of 5.1 inches per month. During this month, you could enjoy Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party which ran from September 15, 2015, to November 1, 2015, this year.

In November, the average daily temperature is 68 degrees with an average rainfall of 2.1 inches per month. You also have the bonus of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival (it ran this year from September 25, 2015, to November 16, 2015). You may also be to overlap your trip with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (it is scheduled for November 8, 2015, to December 18, 2015, this year) and many holiday decorations, too.

Please keep in mind the weather averages may vary, but you'll have a better idea of what to expect with planning a trip. I know if I were to pick a time to go, I am partial to November as the weather looks the most moderate, and there is the bonus of other seasonal activities.

If we can help with further questions, please let us know.  We'd like to be able to help you plan a trip that will be filled with many unforgettable moments!  -Kara
