Hey there! Hi there! Diana, I am so glad to see you back at planDisney. It won't be long before you are driving through the gates where Mickey and Minnie are waiting to welcome you to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I am so excited for you!
MagicBands aside, the easiest way for your teens to access the resort and theme park tickets is Key to the World Cards. I assume you had or created
MyDisney profiles for them when you made the Disney Resort Collection hotel reservation. When you check in at
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you can stop by the Front Desk and ask a Cast Member for the Key to the World Cards. The cards will be assigned to them so I like to bring a Sharpie to write names on the cards. Even if the cards have different designs, I still like permanent ink to help me keep them straight. Hakuna Matata!
Since your kids are teens, you can also update their MyDisney profiles managed by an adult to accounts they manage. With this, they can use
Disney MagicMobile service on their cell phones to unlock the resort door and access their theme park tickets. I just converted my kids' profiles to their own accounts. They like being able to see all the plans and manage their days in the
My Disney Experience App.
If you are interested in this approach, you can open their profiles in the app by going to the menu (the "≡" at the bottom of the screen), finding "Profile," and selecting the tab "Family & Friends List." Open their profile and select "Send email." It will send an email to them to accept and
Bibbiddi Bobiddi Boo! they have their own accounts.
Your trip to Walt Disney World is getting so close! If you have any other questions as you put the finishing touches on your magical vacation, you know you have a friend in us. Just come back to
planDisney!
Reach for the Sky!
