    Planning trip to DW in Dec 2012..DD will be almost 6 by then. Do you reccommend bringing a stroller for her..Just went in Jan & she used it almost the whole time( just turned 4)..Also what is the weather like then & is the park decorated for xmas..

    Hi Michele:

    I have a very rambunctious 5-year-old boy who walks everywhere and hasn't used a stroller in years. However, at Disney World, we absolutely use a stroller for him. There is just so much walking at Disney World, and we find that the stroller can be a life-saver, especially in the early afternoon when energy starts to fade. And when our son is not using the stroller, we use it to carry any bags.

    The weather in Orlando in December usually hovers around 70 degrees fahrenheit or higher. However, during certain cold snaps, the weather can really dip low, to the 40's or even lower, so remember to bring lawyers of clothing.

    Disney World typically starts putting up Christmas decorations around the second week of November, sometimes even earlier. By Thanksgiving, expect to see the parks fully decorated for the Holidays.
