I am planning a trip during Easter week. Is the park usually busy? We won't be there on Easter Sunday but that Thursday-Saturday. Thanks!

    Hi, Amy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing us your question. I’m thrilled to hear you’re planning a springtime visit to the Disneyland Resort. There’ll be lots of seasonal extras for you to enjoy!

While April (particularly the week before and after Easter Sunday) is a popular time to visit the theme parks due to spring break, I think you’ll be able to get quite a bit accomplished during your trip. With the help of Disney FASTPASS service and Disney MaxPass, you should have plenty of opportunities to experience your must-dos. I recommend that you check out the theme park attractions list online. It can be sorted by age interest, height requirement and thrill level. Pick the attractions you want to make your highest priority so you can create a touring plan and make the most of your time in the parks. Plan to take advantage of any early admission options available to you, like Extra Magic Hour or Magic Morning.

One of my favorite spring traditions that is exclusive to the Disneyland Resort is indulging in the handmade chocolate fudge-filled Easter eggs. You can usually find these decadent treats at Candy Palace in Disneyland Park during the month leading up to Easter Sunday. Disneyland Candy Makers shape the eggs by hand, fill them with house-made fudge and then coat them in milk chocolate. There are typically five flavors offered, but my personal favorite is the peanut butter.  Only a limited number of eggs are made each week, so keep your eyes peeled!

I hope this information helps you plan, Amy. Please visit us again with more questions as your vacation approaches!

    Wishing you magic,
