We're planning our 2013 trip and due to work/school schedules our only options are March 23-30 (week before Easter) and May 23-30 (Memorial Day is May 27). I know both weeks will be crowded but which would be more manageable? Thanks for the great info!

    Hi Christie!

Since the week before Easter is such an overwhelmingly popular time for families to visit Walt Disney World, you should consider planning your trip for Memorial Day week. My family has experienced the parks during both holidays and the latter is less crowded. The crowds will peak during the weekend, but the rest of your week you will find shorter lines and fewer waits. Our spring break trips have been manageable and the weather is spectacular in central Florida during the spring, however, if this time works better for your family. If you choose March to visit arrive at the parks at opening and have dining reservations in place well in advance. Either choice will provide you with a magical vacation so no worries!
