We're planning a multi-generational trip to DL in Feb. for my folks' 50th Anniversary. My dad will rent an ECV (and can only do limited walking), but how can we ensure that we can sit together during the shows (Mickey and the Magical Map, etc)?

    Hi there Lisa,

I’m thrilled to infinity & beyond that you have a trip planned to The Happiest Place on Earth! A vacation that is multi-generational is going to be unforgettable!

Begin your adventure by stopping by Guest Services to get your free Anniversary buttons for your parents to wear while in the parks.

The Disneyland Resort has wheelchair and Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) to rent on a first-come, first-served basis.  Here is some information regarding attractions for Guests with Mobility Disabilities including those that allow Guests to remain in their wheelchairs or ECVs, those that require Guests in ECVs to transfer to wheelchairs to board and those that require Guests to be mobile to enjoy.

There will be parking for Guests with Mobility Disabilities throughout the Disneyland Resort. All shows, like Mickey and the Magical Map, do have sections for Guests with Mobility Disabilities; just be sure to ask the Cast Member where the section is. There is seating next to these areas for the other Guests in your party so you can all enjoy the entertainment together. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the entertainment start time to ensure enough seating though. Be sure to review this link too so you guys can make a pixie-dusted plan for your adventure.

I hope this brought some magic to your day. Please let me know if I can assist you any further before your visit.

Wishing you all a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah time!
