    Hi! We are planning our trip to DL for early February but don’t want to miss The Haunted Mansion. Can you tell us about how long is it typically closed to change back from the holiday theme?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for bringing us your question. I hope you’re having fun planning all the pixie-dusted details of your Disneyland Resort vacation!

    There’s nothing like the thrill of boarding your own Doom Buggy inside Haunted Mansion and traveling to the realm of grim grinning ghosts who are out to socialize! This classic attraction is one of my family’s favorites, too. It closes in early January so the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay can be removed and typically re-opens during the third week of January. You should have no problem visiting the 999 happy haunts when you’re at the resort in February. After all, there’s room for 1,000!
