    Hi! Planning a trip to DL April 2013. Interested in the dining plan but not sure what it includes? Also it seems character meals are extra...is that right? Thanks for your help!

    There are so many great dining options at the Disneyland Resort. From wonderful snacks (I am a huge churro fan) to character meals to fine dining, it is all here for you. There is a dining plan that is exclusively part of a Walt Disney Travel Company Vacation Package. It allows guests to pay for meals with vouchers instead of cash, including Character Dining options. Most people out here are using the new e-mail reservation request option to make a dining reservation. Just send an e-mail to dine@disneyland.com. You can also still call Disney Dining at (714) 781-DINE (3463) too. I find it pretty easy to find a great meal both at the parks and in Downtown Disney. I just tried the pizza at Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria and it is awesome. Best pizza I have had since New York! The parks have some great spots too.I just had a delicious meal at the brand new Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park. This restaurant offers a variety of incredible food for both adults and kids. The little ones will love the chicken schnitzel. If you decide to dine here you should see about the World of Color Dining Package. There are so many great options to choose from when dining here. I think that is just another reason it is called the Happiest Place on Earth. I hope this assists you and I cannot wait to see you at the parks.
