    Hi Donna,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

It's great that you're planning ahead for your Walt Disney World vacation, and asking about when you can take the trip to make it more affordable is a good question to ask. My suggestion is that if you have flexibility in when you can travel — for example, you're not limited to common vacation seasons and school breaks — then keep an eye open for Special Offers, Deals & Discounts. These promotions typically offer discounts on Walt Disney World Resort hotels. You can also pay attention to when Free Dine offers are announced. These Free Dine offers are based on Disney Dining Plans that let you enjoy pre-paid meals. Scheduling your vacation to take advantage of promotions is one way to experience more magic for your money. You can also check out accommodations at a Value Resort Hotel like a Family Suite at Disney's All-Star Music Resort or Disney's Art of Animation Resort. On many of our own Walt Disney World vacations, we take budget-friendly steps like eating breakfast in our room, packing sandwiches to eat lunch in the parks, and enjoying Quick Service restaurants for when we do dine out.

Donna, as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation, I hope you'll stop by Disney Parks Moms Panel with any questions you have on how to make the most of the magic.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
